Installing Putty.exe

The default toolset which is displayed in the menu when you right-click an object is preconfigured with some third party tools. In particular the SSH and Telnet tools use the popular putty ssh and telnet client. To install putty, download and copy putty.exe to the Network Notepad installation folder:

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Network Notepad Enterprise

What's new in Network Notepad Enterprise?

• Shared Diagrams.
• Work on diagrams as normal at any zoom level.
• Rotate objects and text. Drag and Drop the corner of an object or a label to rotate it or set the angle in the Format Text and Object Properties Forms.
• Resize objects using the mouse.
• Shapes. Format Shape lets you customise shapes.
• Anti-aliasing.
• Multi page diagrams. Insert Page to add page tabs along the bottom of the window.
• Print Preview.
• Object grouping and locking. Select parent object followed by child objects and then Format > Group.
• Auto align links.
• Format > Print Quality allows you to increase the resolution of your drawings.
• Automatic updates. Configure via the setup form. Click Help > Check for updates.

Compatibility with Network Notepad Professional Edition

The latest Enterprise Edition and the latest Professional Edition will have compatible .ndg files.

Compatibility with Network Notepad Freeware Edition

Network Notepad Enterprise Edition will read .ndg files created with Network Notepad Freeware Edition.
When saving diagrams with Network Notepad Enterprise Edition, the file format is upgraded and they will no longer work with the older software.
